I wish someone would ask adam silver hard questions like why is it that every day there is a garbage game-changing refereeing decision, why after a game where players have been touching each other they get manhandled by security because they "shouldn't" hug or swap jerseys after a game, why players get fined for saying things that are unpopular, etc.

We will see what happens. The players are hired to play basketball and should stop complaining in my opinion. In one year they get paid more than most of us in can ever dream of making in a lifetime. That does not allow nba to do whatever they want with them ofcourse, but this is in their contract and they can adapt to their employee as everyone else does every day.

Everyone quick to talk trash on Silver because he's "hiding" that the NBA wants money... This is a fan driven sport, the only reason the All Star weekend makes the NBA money is because *yall* enjoy it and tune in. Silver isn't lying, they are doing the All Star Game because fans want it, that's also why they went to extraordinary lengths to continue NBA basketball at all. Yes they make money as well, but be real with yourself, you like that the NBA is active right now and if proper protocols are being followed there's no reason to be self righteous and pretend that the players are under an inhumane amount of risk. If a bus driver in Atlanta can drive hundreds of people around a year for $50,000 then an NBA player can play a single game with a dozen other people that have undergone the most extensive testing/ COVID protocols for $50,000. The NBA is a corporation, it like any other business wants to make money, but it only makes money when fans are willing to consume its content. This is a two way street. I personally think Adam Silver is a breath of fresh air, certainly better than commissioners like Goodell, everyone is looking to demonize someone these days.
